Summer-Autumn 1993 This project was developed
on a paid basis for a company who develops software medical for doctors. |
DESCRIPTION
|
The goal was to implement an end-user
application which should largely automate forms with doctor's patient data and integrate
with the company's existing application, mainly for data exchange. A 60 pages manual was
written. |
TECHNOLOGY
|
 | Office Automation in MS Word 2.0 (WordBasic) |

LOOKING
BACK
|
This was my first project; I had 18
years at that time. The time- and cost frame was never clearly defined and towards the end
of the project, it was stopped. It has never been used in production. Looking back, I am
today thinking that Word might not have been the optimal tool for this job. Lotus Notes
might have done the forms better, but was in it's early days and I did not know about.
A predecessor of MSA was developed for my Dad's doctor's office (that's how I got the
job at that software company ;-) and is still in use! |
